Foods that contain more protein than an egg

Protein is currently really hot. Protein is the building block of muscle, hormones, and enzymes in our bodies

Protein also aids in the growth of healthy hair and nails, as well as the maintenance of healthy skin.

Protein is also extremely fulfilling because it takes longer to digest. Most of us consume enough protein (see out how much you need to eat every day), but we may not always distribute it evenly throughout the day.

Many of us consume the majority of our protein at lunch and supper, but not as much at breakfast or snacks.

So why an egg? Eggs are a full source of protein. In one little 70-calorie box, you get 6 grammes of protein as well as vital minerals like choline and the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, which protect your eyes.

However, eggs aren't the only healthy source of protein; in fact, many amazing vegetarian and vegan options are frequently ignored when it comes to protein.

We excluded meat and fish from this list because they are all high in protein.

Ground beef contains 21 grammes per 3 ounces, chicken breast contains 27 grammes, and 3 ounces of salmon contains 17 grammes of protein.
