Kelly Clarkson Announces She'll Be Heading to Paris This Summer for an Exciting Project

A lifelong opportunity awaits Kelly Clarkson this summer.  

She's going to Paris to co-host the 2024 Olympics' opening ceremony! Peyton Manning and four-time opening ceremony host Mike Tirico will join Clarkson. 

The trio confirmed their hosting status on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, March 12.  

"It's an honor to be able to announce for the first time anywhere that, this year at the summer Olympics in Paris, the opening ceremony will be hosted by yours truly, Peyton Manning, and Kelly Clarkson!" Tirico said.  

"Thank goodness we can say it! I'm no vault, but we've held this. "I hate secrets," Clarkson said. 

Fans flooded the comments to support Clarkson's big news. "KELLY IS THRIVING IM HERE FOR IT" and "Will watch for Kelly!" people said. "Will watch for Kelly!" and "queen Kelly in Paris " said others. 

Summer Olympic and Paralympic medals were also shown to fans. Tirico said each gold, silver, and bronze medal contains a piece of the Eiffel Tower. 

Paris will host the opening ceremony on July 26, which will be different from past Olympics. The sportscaster will host for the first time with celebrities, not newscasters.
