Taylor Swift's album 'leaks' spark urgent social media action.

Taylor Swift's next album, The Tortured Poets Department, may have leaked on social media two days before its scheduled release.

The supposedly 'leaked' album, which was scheduled for release on April 19th, had snatches of songs circulating on the internet, prompting a restriction on specific keywords.

On Wednesday, the social networking platform X (previously Twitter) blocked users from searching the phrase "Taylor Swift leak," according to Us Weekly.

Some fans claimed that the leaked samples of the alleged tracks were obtained from a Google folder containing the whole TTPD record.

However, Swifties were quick to defend the Grammy-winning singer, flooding the tags with bogus links and condemning anyone who shared leaks from the upcoming album.

"Stop f—king mentioning anything about TTPD, Idc if you aren't posting the music, and if you heard a leak or a 'leak,' don't say anything on the TL, got it? "It's that simple," one fan wrote.

Another person added, "If I see 'ttpd leak' idc if it's funny ai, it is getting reported ASAP."

Swift took to X to write, "[Victory emoji] til The Tortured Poets Department." If the leaks are true, this is not the first time one of Swift's albums has leaked before its release date.
